Thank you to everyone who sent in their questions on Instagram — I love hearing from all of you and I wish I could answer every question. Answering five of the most asked below :)

FYI I will be doing this at the end of every month so make sure you’re following my personal account on Instagram @jessegolden and subscribe to my email list HERE so you don't miss your question potentially being answered!

Q1:   Do you have a gua sha tutorial? I want to try, but am confused about how to do it properly.

Yes! When you purchase either of our gua sha stones (face or body) you get a 40-page ebook teaching you EVERYTHING plus two video tutorials. I also have a few reels on my Instagram, in highlights, and on my TikTok with some tips.

Q2: Other than your products, what else do you attribute to your skin looking youthful, and wrinkle-free?

I definitely have some wrinkles, but I should at 45. Diet, lifestyle, exercise, getting healthy safe sun daily, trying to live a toxic-free life (which is impossible these days, but I do what I can) I wear minimal makeup, work on the inner me, and get upside down regularly. Plus I've always had a healthy outlook on aging. I always gravitate to the oldest person in the room because they are the wisdom keepers. My mom who is 76 now looks radiant, and always sets a good example for me.

I have a skin health link that I'll share below with more products and tools I use.

Q3: What makes your products so special?

We create our formulations in-house from scratch. We do not just put a label on somebody else’s formulation like many other skincare brands out there. Each product goes through rigorous testing until it is perfect. Simply put, if it’s not perfect, I don’t release it.

Q4: What are your top tips for managing skin changes during pregnancy?

Our bodies possess remarkable abilities, and when we align with the natural rhythms of nature in our dietary, lifestyle, and skincare choices, our skin can thrive during pregnancy. It's a transformative time, marked by a heightened awareness of what we consume and apply to our skin—a true opportunity for self-love and self-care.

While the pregnancy glow is real, not everyone experiences it. Here are my top tips for nurturing your skin during this special time:

1. Stick with what works. Avoid experimenting with new products and opt for natural, non-toxic ingredients that nourish your skin gently without harsh actives.

2. Allow your skin to breathe. Refrain from procedures like dermaplaning, as pregnancy often leads to increased vellus hairs on the face—a natural defense mechanism against pregnancy mask or melasma caused by hormonal shifts.

3. Prioritize hydration and flow of vital life force energy (qi). Keeping the skin hydrated and moisturized with the body undergoing rapid changes is crucial to prevent stretch marks. Dry Brushing and Gua Sha can help your body adapt to increased blood flow and circulation, alleviating cramps and edema.

Embrace this transformative journey with care and mindfulness, honoring your body's needs and embracing the beauty of pregnancy.

Q5: What are your go-to healthy pregnancy snacks or meals?

I follow many of the dietary principles outlined by Weston A. Price to ensure I'm meeting my nutritional needs.

Here are some of my favorite meals and snacks:

MEALS: I enjoy dishes like grass-fed steak or lamb chops paired with sauerkraut and a yam topped with raw butter. I've also been loving chili lately—it's convenient and delicious for multiple meals.

SNACKS: I reach for dates with butter, which is tasty and known to help induce labor when consumed in bulk. I also enjoy hot chocolate made with collagen protein, raw milk, and gelatin marshmallows. Additionally, I like to snack on cheese, apples with raw cashew butter, gluten-free pretzels with hummus and goat cheese, and protein shakes packed with nutrients like raw egg, raw milk, ghee, blackstrap molasses, gelatin, mineral whey, and more.
