Thank you to everyone who sent in their questions on Instagram — I love hearing from all of you and I wish I could answer every question. Answering five of the most asked below :)
FYI I will be doing this at the end of every month so make sure you’re following my personal account on Instagram @jessegolden and subscribe to my email list HERE so you don't miss your question potentially being answered!
Q1: Which herbal teas are your go-to's and what are their benefits?
I make sun tea with fresh organic loose-leaf herbs just about every day. Some of my favorites are Nettle, Raspberry Leaf, Oat Straw, Chaga, Hibiscus, and Roobios. I mix them, depending on what my body needs, add filtered water, and steep in the sun until all the beautiful colors have integrated.
Herbal teas are supportive and loaded with nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants for your health and beauty. I highly recommend adding a few to your kitchen cupboard. I prefer loose leaf over tea bags as tea bags can often leak microplastics. Always source from reputable organic companies and store them in glass jars.

Q2: What ingredients should be avoided in candles?
Synthetic fragrances are the number one thing that should be avoided, not only in candles but in skincare, air fresheners, laundry detergent, perfume, and so on. The word itself can contain thousands of toxic chemicals such as parabens and phthalates which have been linked to allergies, and reproductive and respiratory issues.
The other thing to avoid in candles is soy because soy is one of the most genetically modified foods on the planet and the off-gas can leach harmful chemicals into your environment.
So, in my opinion, the best candles are made of organic beeswax or coconut and organic essential oils. You can find some great handmade ones on Etsy or make them yourself like I do!

Q3: Do you ever layer Heal All Oil + Youth Beauty when you feel you need a little more moisture?
Of course! I love layering all the oils. Each product has its unique benefits, so layering them can give your skin a double dose of goodness. The number one rule for applying oils is to always apply them to damp skin. We recommend prepping the skin with Aura Beauty Mist then you can apply one oil, massage it into the skin, then apply the other or you can mix them into your hands and apply both at once.
Heal All Oil helps to calm sensitive skin and prevent breakouts and various skin conditions like rosacea and eczema and Youth Beauty instantly revitalizes the skin with a powerhouse of nutrient-dense vitamins and minerals to target aging skin.
