Q1: What’s The Best Way To Facial Dry Brush
Facial dry brushing is beautiful any time of day, but I love it most in the morning. As we sleep, fluid can pool in the face, leading to visible puffiness upon waking. Gentle, upward strokes help stimulate circulation and support healthy lymphatic flow, encouraging the release of excess fluid and revealing a more awakened, lifted-looking complexion.
I facial dry brush a few times a week as part of my morning ritual. First, I cleanse with cool water, then dry my skin completely before brushing. There’s no need to press hard, just allow the bristles to lightly sweep the surface of the skin.
After brushing, I like to rinse again, mist with Aura Beauty Mist, and while my skin is still damp, press in Youth Beauty Face Oil.
You can experience my full morning ritual in the Lymph & Lift Kit, where you practically get the facial brush free.

Q2: How do we find the tutorials for previously purchased items to review or reference?
Having experienced pregnancy in both my twenties and my forties, I truly believe the condition you’re in beforehand matters.
Before my last pregnancy, I was intentional about preparing my body. At 45, planning another home birth, I focused on nourishment, strength, and supporting my skin long before I conceived. One of my biggest concerns was stretch marks. During my first pregnancy at 25, I developed significant stretch marks on my stomach, which later inspired me to create Goddess Shaping Body Oil.
This time, I began using Womb Wisdom Skin-Toning Oil a full year before pregnancy and continued throughout and beyond. I was honestly amazed. At 45, my skin felt more supported and resilient than it did at 25. Now at 47, my skin appears smoother and more even than I ever expected.
Another practice I stayed consistent with before, during, and after pregnancy was Ionic Copper Dry Brushing and using my Sculpting Stone. During pregnancy, I was gentler and more targeted, but both were incredibly supportive when I experienced water retention and continue to help me feel balanced and energized now.
Alongside nourishing foods, following a Weston A. Price-inspired approach, and staying active, these rituals made a meaningful difference for me.
If you’re looking to support your skin through similar seasons, I recommend the Body Sculpting Kit, swapping Goddess for Womb Wisdom if pregnant or breastfeeding.

Q3: What’s your #1 skincare secret right now?
Simple but consistent. I’ve always been a less-is-more girl. That philosophy felt easy in my twenties and thirties. But now, navigating motherhood again in my late forties, the early shifts of perimenopause, sleepless nights of co-sleeping and breastfeeding, I’ve seen the real power of simplicity.
In an era of peptides stacked on peptides and creams promising everything under the sun, consistency has mattered more than complexity. A steady, intentional routine has kept my skin balanced and glowing through hormonal shifts, fatigue, and life’s changes.
Skin naturally renews itself in cycles of about 28 to 40 days, so you have to give products at least that amount of time to fully work. Find what works for you and stay consistent. More isn’t better. Overloading your skin can disrupt its barrier and create confusion rather than clarity.
And while certain preservatives are necessary for safety, excess synthetic additives are designed to extend shelf life, not improve your skin.
For long-term skin health and overall well-being, clean, potent, thoughtfully formulated skincare wins every time.

Q4: How can I tell if a product is safe and/or clean?
Thankfully, consumers are demanding more transparency, and in response, companies and platforms are emerging to help navigate the clean beauty space with greater clarity.
As a Think Dirty Verified brand, I genuinely appreciate the Think Dirty app for scanning and understanding product ingredients. I also value EWG, where you can find several of our verified products, and the Yuka app, another helpful tool for evaluating formulations.
At The Golden Secrets, we go beyond verification. Our products are third-party heavy metal tested, a level of accountability that remains uncommon in skincare.
A few months ago, I wrote a blog post exploring the measurable impact of cleaner body care. One study that deeply resonated with me was How 28 Days Without Toxic Body Care Products Changed Breast Health, which examined how switching to cleaner products influenced detectable levels of certain chemicals in the body.
Transparency matters. Education matters. And what you put on your skin every day truly adds up.

Q5: Do you have a referral program?
Yes, and it’s a good one!
You can give your friend $20 off their first order, and you’ll receive $20 for every successful referral. As a small company, we truly rely on word of mouth, and we love rewarding you for sharing The Golden Secrets with the people you care about.
