Rituals, Spells and Magick

There is just something magical about this time of year. Did you know that the veil between worlds is the thinnest during this time? Making it a powerful time to start new rituals, cast spells and start seeing the magic that already surrounds you.

As the weather starts to fall, so do our needs. Traditionally, this is a time of harvest and preparation for the colder, winter months. This means bringing nature indoors through decoration, cooking, ritual and spells.

Here are three of our favorite things to do to honor this time of the year:

1. Celebrate October by decorating and filling your home with the fall harvest.

Pumpkins, sunflowers, gourds, acorns, apples, sunflowers and herbs such as allspice, cinnamon and nutmeg are all ways to bring the outside in and get into the spirit of the season. You can also create a beautiful alter to honor those whom have passed on. This is the traditional October 31st holiday, known as the witches new year or Samhain where we honor our ancestors and loved ones that have crossed over. You can do this by putting up photos of loved ones, flowers, candles, and other memorabilia associated with that person.

It is known that eating foods that are in season is one of the best way to get all the nutrients your body needs during that particular time of the year. Indulging in root vegetables such as pumpkin, squash and sweet potatoes are a great way to get these nutrients. You can also incorporate pomegranate, apples, cider, sturdy stews and seasonal herbs to help warm your spirit and ground your soul.

Our A Little Peace Of Mind is formulated with several of the seasonal herbs grown during this time of year and more. It is a powerful natural defense that we recommend always having on hand, especially now as the seasons shift.

What we put in our body is no different than what we put on our body. That is why it is not only important to eat seasonally, but treat our skin with ingredients that are seasonally grown as well. This ensures that our skin is getting all the vitamins it needs as the weather shifts. There is no better ingredient to nourish your skin with during this transitional time than pomegranate seed oil. Pomegranate seed oil is a star ingredient in our Youth Beauty Face Oil

What Makes Pomegranate Seed Oil So Special?

Seasonally grown in the Northern hemisphere between September and February, pomegranate dates back to ancient times and represents fertility (birth) and prosperity. Pomegranate seed oil contains a high concentration of ellagic acid (an antioxidant), and also polyphenols, Vitamin C, and Punic acid, which is an Omega-5 that reduces skin inflammation and aids in skin repair and prevents moisture loss. This noticeably improves the texture and tone of the skin.It also accelerates the process of cellular regeneration and rejuvenation. Helping to increase collagen and elastin while protecting against free-radical damage, pomegranate can reverse skin damage already created.

 2. Beauty rituals are as old as time.

The desire for people, especially woman to have ageless beauty and vitality has always been. The funny thing is with the advancement of technology we still feel that some of the oldest modalities achieve the best, natural results. So we are going back to ancient wisdom with our Sorceress Stone. Our Sorceress Stone is made of Bian stone which is one of humanity's oldest medical practices.

It contains over 40 trace elements (over 20 of these have anti-aging effects) unrivaled value by any other stone. This tool is designed specifically to rejuvenate, nourish, and brighten your skin naturally. It detoxifies and lifts the skin by increasing lymphatic flow and toning the facial muscles, having the ability to take years off your skin and unveil your natural glow. Think of it as an eraser that smoothes out fine lines and wrinkles!

We chose to name it the Sorceress stone because it is pure magic.

sor·cer·ess /ˈsôrs(ə)rəs/ Sorceress (paranormal), a practitioner, usually female, of magic, the ability to attain objectives or acquire knowledge or wisdom using supernatural means.
