TOP 5 QUESTIONS

Q1: What do you eat in a day?

In general, I eat nutrient-dense foods from animal protein, vegetables, bone broth, fruits, honey, and newly added raw dairy.

I recently shared a tiktok and reel on that HERE

Q2: What is your morning routine?

I have a couple of non-negotiables but I also like to keep my mind open and listen to what my body needs each day.

A couple of things that I seem to consistently do:

    1. Allowing my eyes to receive the sun and look far first thing in the morning. I've made this small commitment to myself to help offset all the time I spend working, looking at blue light up close.
    2. Another morning ritual I have been doing consistently for the past few months is starting my day with my adrenal cocktail before making my coffee and getting my morning sun.
    3. Getting out into nature before I start my day really helps me ground and get centered. I have a deck that I sunbathe and sip my coffee on and it really helps me gain perspective and clarity before I start my day.

Q3: What is your coffee recipe?

I literally get out of bed for this coffee. I recently shared my coffee recipe on my personal website blog HERE as well as my Instagram HERE Quality of ingredients is key, especially with coffee. So many beans are chemically processed, sprayed with toxins, and have mold, yes, mold. I share the brands I use and trust below- only the best of the best.

Q4: What TGS oil do you use before bed?

The Youth Beauty Face Oil. I just love how rich and thick it is and how it gives me such a beautiful morning glow. I feel that nighttime is one of the best times to obtain benefits from what you put on your skin and Youth Beauty provides complete nourishment with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and trans-retinoic acid.

Q5: I have been told dermaplaning is anti-aging and good for your skin. Is this true?

This is one of those things that I just can't get on board with. I recently did a post on melasma and how to naturally get rid of it and prevent it entirely and I think dermaplaning is one of those things that can exacerbate it.

I believe the trend behind it is the exfoliation and soft feel you get immediately after but I am in the camp of everything has a purpose and we were created with certain things for a reason. For example, we were born to withstand the sun but modern lifestyles, diets, and trends have us burning the second we see it.

That peach fuzz or vellus hairs that we have on our skin are there for a reason - to protect the microbiome and barrier of our skin. To help keep the bad things out and the good things in. When you remove that you are exposing your skin to endless environmental factors, allergens, and contaminants with absolutely no protection.

Our skin is naturally designed to keep more things out than in so yes I understand the concept of allowing products to better penetrate the skin but you can achieve that without removing those much-needed hairs on your face with things like micro-needling or exfoliation.
